It would be great to have the ability to use the navigate back and forward not for any typing but only for VAX function (mostly for alt_g) : I frequently move inside function calls, and want to return to the main, it's really annoying to have all the caret move I've done.
Again it's a way of work i've with Workspace Whizard, and WW win against VAX for this point too.
Today I've WW and VAX on the same machine to have all the functionnality I need...
I use them, but they record not only the alt+g but any caret move. When I'm looking at a code I've not written, and that I discover this code, I frequently move with pageup, pagedown, and this is all recorded...
What I'd like is to have only the move across function calls recorded.
normally when i jump to some unknown code to read it the code is in a different source file, so CTRL-TAB takes me back to where i was working before the jump.
