I use Visual assist X for Visual Studio 2004 every day and also unfortunatly have to use Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++. I recently installed 'Visual Assist X 10.1.1299.0' which is the first time I've installed Visual Assist whilst eMbedded C++ is installed. Now when I try to start eMbedded C++ it just hangs with a grey window behind the splash 'screen'.
Visual Studio 2004 still works with Visual assist but I can't start eMbedded Visual C++
Appologise for the hasty post. I've just reset my machine to see if that would fix the problem. Whilst shutting down it closed the splash screen and grey window revealing a window asking if I want to continue the trial or buy.
I have read the upgrade policy which leaves me unsure as to if I need to upgrade to X since I have a 4.1, 6.0 and 7.1 key. It looks as though I can use the 6.0 key in eMbedded C++ and the 7.1 in .NET. But would this mean I have to change between the keys when I change between IDEs?
