Hi,
When I doubleclick on an item in the "Find Symbol" dialog, the dialog just dissappears and that's it. The contents of the editor do not change and do not show the location of the selected item. However, if I then enter ALT+G or press the "Go" button, I get a list of possible locations for the selected item or, in case there is only one possibility, the editor jumps to the source code that contains the item.
I use Visual Assist in two different workspaces. In one of them the "Find Symbol" dialog functions as expected, in the other one as described above. Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong ?

Double click should work as expected.
Does the problem occur for all symbols or just select ones? If select, what is common about them?
Does the problem occur in all workspaces? (Try a small sample.)
Do you have any other utilities or add-ins that might be grabbing the double click? |

Hi,
First of all, apologies for the late reply ...
>> Does the problem occur for all symbols or just select ones? >> If select, what is common about them? >> >> Does the problem occur in all workspaces? (Try a small sample.)
The problem does occur for all symbols, but not in all workspaces.
>> Do you have any other utilities or add-ins that might be grabbing >> the double click?
No, it seems to workspace related.

does disabling VA make any difference to this bug?
is this a work space that you could zip up and email to [email protected] for them to try and debug this? |
