Column indicator is shown wrong when cursor is positioned beyond limit and horizontal scrollbar is used. Another case when indicator is displayed wrong is when you size your codeeditor window pretty small, like 20 chars, and you go to end of line. The line has to be longer than configured column indicator.
I hope both cases will be worked on. I know they are rather old (and I did send a remark once in yet another topic), but I still hope it will be fixed.
