I installed build 1418 with VS 2005 Beta (2 I think), and I can no longer double click on a cpp file in explorer and have it load in VS. I have 2003 installed also and neither opens. As a result, the more important issue of not being able to type a cpp in the command prompt and have it open in my current IDE session exists. This I consider a very serious bug. It repros on two coworkers machines.
heh, I hope this is the right forum for this :/. |

There is no known workaround for vs2005. It does work for vs2003 if vs2005 is not installed. Until fixed for vs2005, if you want it to open in vs2003, you will probably have to modify the file handler using the Folder Options control panel applet (change the default open action for .cpp and .h files using the File Types tab of the Folder Options applet).
