Line spacing(distance in pixels between the line of code) is terrible in .NET. In VC6, I could see as many as 50 lines on the screen, but in .NET, it's, like, 25.

Unfortunately it cannot be configured anywhere :(

have you tried changing the font, and the font size in the IDE options? VAX does not draw the text, it just overwrites it, so this is not something VAX can address.

For me using Courier instead of Courier New resulted in narrower line spacing.

You'll get lots of lines on screen with this one:

It's 80-something on my screen (1280x1024).

I can't imagine someone could work with that font... I can't even set the font size besides 8 or 14! Also some special characters like +? do not work.

Are there any other font that are working good for code programming??

I was thinking about a monospace font which is nice to read (works with VAX Italic setting) and not too big.... (yeah I know a lot of demands)

But, Bitstream Vera Sans Mono is a monospace font (hence, the "Mono" part)...
