Even though I have unchecked "Parse all headers when opening a project," VAX is still parsing them all every time.

*yawn*

So I thought I'd complain about it here while I'm waiting. :)

what directories are these headers in? are they included in the solution you are opening? if not how is the IDE and VA told about them?

when you say every time is this daily? more than once a day? or do you only restart the IDE infrequently? VA will automatically reparse the stable include files every x days, so this could be a factor.

All headers from the solution are parsed every time the solution is openend, even if VS isn't closed.

alt-f, t -- closes solution
alt-f, j, 1 -- opens most recent solution

--> all headers are reparsed.

The setting is effectively saved and read but is no longer used by the parser.
