In variable definition, when you type a variable name, the suggestion list box appears. If accepting suggestions with any character not valid in a symbol is set, the suggestion is accepted after a character not valid in the symbol is entered, which is very annoying.
The suggestion list box shouldn't appear when a variable name is typed in variable definition.

I am using VC++ 6.0 and VA_X build 1423.
By the way, build 1418 doesn't have this problem.

are you typing in a .h or a cpp file? how is VA to know that you are typing a variable definition? what is the context?

if i am in a header file, and type:

class foo
{
    int bar|
}

am i typing a variable or function definition? as for accepting the suggestion, VA is correctly following the settings you have set.
