First open a project in vc6.0, keyword in tooltips colors correctly. Then close the project, open another project, keyword color in tooltips is disabled. VAX build 1428.
I have had the same problem in VS .net 2003 and Build 142x. I'll test this tonight (I was about to post this problem anyway), maybe we'll find similarities...
My Problem was: Opening a project, NO Tooltip coloring at all. Adding a new source-file to the project, coloring for tooltips was back for ALL open source-files. Closing and re-opening the project, tooltip coloring vanished again (until I added anothe new sourcefile to the project) for all files in the project.
This just affected the tooltips, all other "enhance-colored" Areas were colored right...
