After a while in a session Visual Studio won't repaint when it should. I will delete some text but the text will still be there, although the cursor has drawn in the correct location. The text is no longer really there, just painted there still. I have to scroll down then up to force it to repaint correctly. This is under C++ on both 2005 and 2003. The only other plug-in I have installed is ViEmu (http://www.ngedit.com/viemu.html). I'm running Windows 2000.
Thanks,

I think the first thing they will ask you to do is install the latest general release, which is 1434. Then, if it still happens, let them know. |

You should try also disabling your ViEmu add-in. Since ViEmu provides emulation of another editor, VIM, odds are good that you have two add-ins the vie for control of the IDE/source window. |

When I get it to a point where repainting doesn't happen when it should, disabling Visual Assist allows Visual Studio to paint correctly and quickly. When I enable it again, it no longer paints quickly, lagging behind my edits and movements. |
