I would appreciate to have an option to reinvoke previously applied snippet without having to select it again from menu. Mainly when I apply surround with, such shortcut would help me a lot. Perhaps only new command would be enough, so that user can assign a shourtcut to it. |

What sort of things are you trying to achieve here?
You said mainly for surrounding code, so does this mean you might want to use this at other times as well? The default snippets mostly ship with one or two character shortcuts, so you won't really save any key presses using a keyboard shortcut to re-enter the previous typed snippet.
Are you doing a lot of surrounding?
You could consider editing the default "#ifdef (VA)" C++ snippet, since this is triggered when you press the # key, and you can always delete your edited version to return to the default snippet body. |
