Forgive me if I'm way behind everyone else here. I'm finding it hard to remember two months of comments for a product I wasn't using at the time.

I thought the hovering class browser in the VA View should change when I hover over a word. I'm not seeing that. I have to click on the word (so that the caret is inside that word), then move the mouse a little but still hovering over the same word.

VS.NET, VA X 1213.

The HCB should update as you hover, assuming you're updating over a known symbol.

Make sure the push button isn't pushed.

The push-pin is off. I have to click then hover, as described above. Just hovering isn't sufficient.

If you click in the HCB, focus is in the HCB. You need to put, or keep, focus in the source window.

Hover while you're editing. That should work.

Click in the HCB when you need to scroll or go to an implementation.

Sorry, but I really don't think it does what you say, unless I've misunderstood something.

Some advance on my earlier description, though. If I hover over another function from the same class, it will change to highlight that function. If I hover over a function from a different class, it won't change.

Example:

CRipe *pRipe;
CSquashy *pSq;
pRipe->Poke();
pRipe->Eat();
pSq->Discard();

Click and hover on Poke() -- the HCB will update to find it. Hover over Eat() and the HCB will highlight Eat() instead. But hover over Discard() and the HCB will never change.

This seems to have got fixed in version 1220 or 1221. Did you do something about it? Or maybe it was a side-effect of the fix for bug #1247.

Much has changed in the HCB the last few builds. We listen to all feedback and tweak our features accordingly. We note most changes in our history list. No point in noting every detail.
