If you use the IDE's "Tools, Customize" menu item, "Commands" tab, select "VAssistX", there is an entry called "Symbols in Workspace". If you drag it to your toolbar, though, it doesn't actually do anything. Must be a dead icon - maybe you could use the icon image for the "Find Symbol" dialog, though - it's much prettier...
Ditto for "Files in Workspace"...

The commands, VAViewFIW and VAViewSIW are broken as of build 1219. They should allow keyboard access to the FIW and SIW dropdowns in the VA View. We will fix the commands.
There is no value in placing the commands in the toolbar. Using them in the toolbar requires mouse movement. You might as well move directly to the VA View. The buttons are available for completeness -- required by integration interfaces of the IDEs.
We agree the icons are not ideal. If we fix the commands, you should never see them. |
