I have seen the following a few times recently, but I can't reproduce it in a tiny example immediately.
Suppose I have edited a file, by inserting stuff. Functions which are declared (or defined, or both? not sure) after that point get extra entries in the Alt-G list G?? it offers me a choice of the former and the new line number.

VA X parses only the code near your editing until you pause for a few seconds. When the idle time occurs, VA X parses your entire file. During the full parse, VA X resets its lists of definitions in the file.
We suspect you press Alt+G after some editing and prior to a pause. |

I don't quite believe this explanation. If VA has reparsed near the function declaration, it should notice that it has moved. If it hasn't reparsed near there, it should still have the declaration at the old location. In neither case should it have both the old and the new location together in the list. (Well, that's my intuition, anyway — of course I don't know what's really going on inside). |

I can confirm that this happens even when I have sat around in the changed file doing nothing for 30 seconds.
Screenshot sent to support. You can post it here if you want.

Build 1237 shows sometimes the correct definition for some STL members (e.g. string::substring), but Alt+G does nothing at all. So, VAX knows what it is, but it has now idea where it comes from??? Uhm. |
