I do not fully understand why this works, and make no guarantees this will work for you- all I know is that it works for me.
1) Remove stlport headers from header list inside VAX custom header locations.
2) Add all stlport headers in a project within your solution as a static library.
3) Make sure "Get content from default intellisense" is off.
