VS2005, C#
Parameter Info (Ctrl+shift+i) and Quick info (Ctrl+i) tooltips are not syntax colored when invoked through their shortcuts.
But, when an keystroke event or hovering event fires, it is colored over.
e.g. Press Ctrl+i on a variable, uncolored tooltip will pop up, release all keys, press ctrl once more, tooltip will be colored.
Or: Press Ctrl+i on a variable, uncolored tooltip will pop up, release all keys, hover the mouse over another symbol until the VAX refactoring button appears, tooltip will be colored now.
PS: Sean, still running the dll you've sent, if that makes any difference.
PPS: No, it doesnt make any difference. Same thing with all three dlls. |

confirmed. the problem with the parameter info tooltip is only in C#, while the quick info tooltip problem shows up in both C# and C++

That is just odd. My initial reaction is that it is not really connected to case=3082, since most of them are coloured. I am seeing exactly the same thing here, and it is fairly, but not totally, consistent.

Does that work on item 6? For me pressing CTRL, I have tried both left and right, and a few other keys as well, makes no difference at all.
CTRL does trigger colouring some of the time, but not here, at least for me. |

| I have updated the case with this fact. Certainly it does suggest a connection with case=3082, but so far I have no idea why you are seeing a different result to me. |
