These functions:
- VAssistXAddMember
- VAssistXAddSimilarMember
- VAssistXChangeSignature
don't add a star '*' after the modified file name.
When I close the modified file, VC ask to save before close.

[I'm using visual studio 6]

I'm not sure I understand. These functions modify the file, so why would you not want to be prompted for saving the file?

BTW, the "*" is added by VS, not VA.

I am seeing the same thing here after running Change Signature. Note that after changing files, e.g. using alt-o twice the star appears.

Unfortunately this is still in our list of things to fix. I have increased the priority on this for you which might help.
