I'm sure I'm missing the obvious, but when I open the VA View window, its font is huge--relative to the fonts I'm seeing in my Solution Explorer and Class View, for instance. How can I reduce the size? I'm in VS 2003 7.1.3088 with VAX 10.3.1543.

Out of interest how did you change the font size for Solution Explorer and Class view?

For me, running VS2003 on win2k the following works:
go to control panel -> display properties -> appearance tab -> item = Icon

changing the font and font size and applying the change effects various GUI components inside the IDE, VAView included. I would have expected Solution Explorer and Class view to get their font information in the same manor.

Thanks--that's what I was looking for. I didn't think of Icon. (Why icon?)

Re: How did I change the fonts in Solution Explorer and Class view, this works for me. . . .

In VS 2003, Tools menu -> Options -> Environment -> Fonts and Colors -> Show settings for Dialogs and Tools Windows.

After clicking OK it's necessary to restart VS.

Interesting, I have never actually tried that particular option myself.

Icon, it seems an odd choice, but there are not that many items in display that allow you to set the font, so I just worked through them one by one until I found something that worked
