Recently, I encounter a warning that I am reaching the maximum use of PC's allowed by my license. This could be true, but the issue is that I receive this warning while I already have two open instances of Visual Studio with VaX on my computer, therefore opening a new visual studio instance on the same PC does not increase the number of PC's permitted to use Visual Assist. I use VaX version 10.3.1549.0
Please assist... Thanks!

This can happen if someone has just plugged a laptop running VAX into the network. VAX checks the licence, and how many machines are running, on startup, so if the number of machines running VAX on the network changes then the licence check will fail.
If VAX was started on the laptop while it was not connected to the network then VAX will quite happily load.
