This is probably out of the realm of possibility... but just in case.
In addition to programming in C/C++, I also deal with web stuff like HTTP, PHP, Perl, & MySQL.
I just downloaded a trial of PHP Edit, and was wishing you guys wrote it.
What would be awesome is if somehow I could edit that stuff with Visual Assist X in my IDE, or even a seperate program.
Maybe I should just breakdown and try Dreamweaver, and I'm just dreaming, but your technology might be able to be expanded into new frontiers. =)
When I dream, I dream big, haha.

I know what you are saying, when ever I have to work in some other language I wish we supported it Unfortunately this is not something we are looking to do any time soon.
I tend to just accept I need a lot of "power" in my editor and use Vim instead: http://www.vim.org/ Now this only helps if you know how to use Vi / Vim, but careful use of CTRL-P / CTRL-N gets you close to the power of VA's suggestion listboxes. Its not the same, but it is still the best alternative I have found so far. |
