Hello,
Sometimes there is a problem with the listboxes:
I reproduced this problem with a simple new C# project and with the code shown in the image. I repeated to write if (c.(A|B) == n) till the white listbox was shown.
Thanks in advance. Bye. |

Do you use any other IDE plugin's?
Programs that might be hooking into the IDE, for example something like Windowblinds or some other skinning program? They can cause similar bugs. |

Which IDE are you using?
How many times do you have to trigger the listbox before the blank listbox appears? I have added your code to a new default C# windows application, using VS2005 and VA 1635, and I retyped the dot 50 times, and the listbox was always correct for me.
Which anti-virus software are you using? Can you try disabling this and see if it makes any difference? |

I am using Visual Studio 2008 and no anti-virus software. The blank listbox appears approximately after the second time. With Visual Assist X 10.4.1626.0 I don't have this problem. |

I have seen this twice with 1635, but it is not really reproducable. If the listbox is closed and opened for the second time, everything is fine. |

evil since you are seeing this so often can you please enable VA logging, reproduce this problem in a very simple test project, then close the IDE and send me the log files. Closing the IDE stops the log files from getting to large.
Please see this FAQ for details of turning on VA's logging, and sending us the log files

Hopefully this will offer some clues. Are you running a 32bit or 64bit OS? SvenR is running 64bit Vista, so this might be a factor. |

I have the log files, thank you for these. I have asked our developers if they have any idea what is happening here:

For those of you that are experiencing this problem, can you please let us know if you have coloring of listboxes enabled or disabled? |
