In VS 2008, I type this followed by <enter>:
void foo() const {
VAX 1640 spits out this:
void foo() const {
TAB
}
If I move the cursor using the arrow-keys, this TAB-character disappears. Quite annoying!

Visual Assist don't place TAB in this case, only move the cursor into the right place, and the editor will insert the TAB(s) when you type the first character. This is like when you move the cursor in "enable virtual spaces" mode: you can move everywhere, and the editor will place TABs and spaces when you insert a character.
