Hi
I spotted this in 1709 but with Xmas and all never reported it.
If you are in VA Outline in a class behing a Windows form ,normally double clicking on the method (etc) takes you to that area of the code window. In 1709 and now in 1711 , I double click and it opens up the form design window , if you now click on the tab for the code behind class , you are at the correct spot in the code that was originally requested. Irritating .
Even worse , it seems sporadic . I just closed all windows other than the form design , then went F7 to the code , opened VA Outline and it did it .
Navigation works fine in a normal Class.
Not a major headache but I suspect not intended.
Cheers

Mike,
Thanks for the report. We are aware of a similar issue in which double-clicking a Find References result loads the Windows Forms designer instead of the code editor:
case=21473
Is the form you're working on when this occurs a recently created form that has never been saved? Please let us know if you find a reproducible scenario. Thanks! |
