At various times all tooltips that VAX creates (like during auto-complete suggestions) are corrupted. They are either completely white, completely black or are way too large with the excess space filled black. I can not definitely say what causes this but I can reproduce it by running Winamp. Winamp is set to 80% transparency. Maybe that has something to do with it. As I said I can reproduce the issue and would be willing to do more tests.
I don't think anyone else has mentioned winamp as a possible factor, so this is very interesting news. We have a couple of other users reporting black tooltips, so you might be seeing the same problem.
