VAX 1649, XP SP2, VS 2008 SP1.

Consider this (cursor at '|'):
pVariable| foo()

Now I type:
[dot] [delete]

The result is:
pVariable. foo()

I'd expect:
pVariable->foo()


Why do you revert "->" after Delete key? Backspace makes more sense!

We do revert after Backspace. The Delete key, personally I am not quite sure, but it seems reasonable to me, since some users do not always like VA making changes like dot to -> for them, and want the change to be very easily reversible.

Is this causing you problems when editing?

Not very often, but when restructuring code (like in the sample above) pressing delete yields problem.

Perhaps you need som extra condition for this conversion to fire? Not sure exactly what that would be though.
