Can it be that the hovering browser shows symbols multiple times when I have a file multiple times in the workspace?
Because this is what I seem to see. One class which is present in multiple projects (file in the project folder), is shown as having 8 times the same contructor, but all other members are only doubled. But all lead to the same location when clicked. |

so far unable to reproduce this.
using VS .NET 2002 and VAX 1246 i have added two empty win32 projects to a test program. the test program's project contains the files for class CdIndexFileData
both dummy projects contain the two files for this class, and nothing else.
the HCB is only showing once instance of each member and function in this class. |

| Well, I still have the very same problem in many classes (almost all). There are lots of screenshots around which show this problem. It`s annoying. |

| i am sure it is. i was hoping to find a small and simple way of reproducing the problem. how many different times do you need to include the same class to trigger this? |

| Some classes i have just twice included in the whole workspace. Others six or seven times. Not sure what exactly triggers it. I mean, my workspace contains about 800 files, that is not an easy task to repro. Support has some of my logs already. There should be a hint about this too. |

ah, ctor and dtor are constructor and destructor. i had wondered what you ment by that.
are those class member functions in the left hand picture? they have the colour of functions, but no brackets. that looks like case=208 |

Left hand are global functions, right hand are class members. (sorry about ctor and dtor, thought that is commonly known  ) |
