I have been using VAx for a while and happened to enable "check for update" option. It asked me to update to Visual Assist X 10.5.1738.0. I updated it. Started VS2008..i see the tips dialogbox..then the VS2008 stopped working.
Went back to version before the update and now i get "package load failure!"
Vista-64 home premium..DEP disabled (My system info says that I have hardware DEP).
VS2008 prof. edition. Thank u.

This is odd and should not happen.
What do you mean by VS2008 stopped working? It hangs or crashes or something else?
