It would be useful when links referring to a page within the forum (e.g. http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9887) would open in the same window/tab

e.g. A --> B --> A --> B would open three additional tabs and so makes switching between two topics not very comfortable ...

Just a note, Firefox already does this by default.
I will forward the request to our web department.

Just a note:
<a href="http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9887"
target="_blank">http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9887</a>

The target="_blank" should be removed, that's all ;-)

Btw, if posting long code lines between code tags there should be a scrollbar within the code area

We use an off-the-shelf forum package, and will weigh the cost/benefit of modding the forum according to these and other suggestions, but other development tasks have priority at the moment. We appreciate your feedback.
