"Subscribe to this topic" should be enabled per default (or make it possible to setup this in the profile)

(From the response to the other forum suggestion) We use an off-the-shelf forum package, and will weigh the cost/benefit of modding the forum according to these and other suggestions, but other development tasks have priority at the moment. We appreciate your feedback.
