Usually, I use Visual Studio .NET 2002 under WinXP Prof, but at work I use Win2000 and Visual Studio 6.0. So I thought I'd give Visual Assist X a chance...
"Stable Symbold in Italic" cutts off the last letter of the Symbol.
Screen:
It may be a Graphics-card-problem on my work-machine, so I'm not sure if this is a VA_X Problem or not! Can anyone of you VC 6.0-Users confirm this?
It does almost the same in Visual Studio .NET 2002, but not that bad! In VC 6.0, it cuts off nearly the whole last letter, in VC 7.x, it cuts off a tiny bit of the upper right corner of the last letter...

Unforunately, this problem is horrendously difficult to fix. As it is, we are hacking the output of VS.NET which has no idea it's drawing italics.
We like the information italics conveys and plan to keep the feature and we have an idea for a fix -- we just won't get to it for a while.
The workaround is to change font and/or font size of text. Some combinations work much better than others. Try Courier New. |
