When you have a selection in a source file and close the workspace or exit VS6, this selection is remembered when you re-open the workspace. Without VA this works fine for normal selections and block selections. When VA is active, a block selection is converted to a normal selection.
Not that this is really important, its just a cosmetic detail which probably occurs to 1 in 10.000 developers
