One problem is that disabling VAX doesn't get rid of the VA view window. The other problems are below.

When I enable VA View and open VS the output window (bottom docked)is resized into almost non-existance. This happens when VA view is docked on the left hand side on top of solution view (and other VS windows also docked on left hand side):

Whereas if I put the VS windows on the right hand side and then put the VAX window on full pane on the left hand side and autohide the right hand docked windows I get this when I restart VS:

To reset this condition the only thing that can be done is to unload VAX which doesn't get rid of the VA view window and then reset the windows (I chose hide all to do this) and then close the VA view window and then restart VS.

By design -- our design and that of the integration interfaces available to us.

If things get really screwy, reset your window layout. See #6 in:

Whacked window layouts are not uncommon in VS.NET, hence the reset command. The wackiness occurs more often with packages that use VSIP. We recommend finding a setup that works for you, and leaving it that way.
