It happens 1 out of 5 times that surround selection does not work, instead acts like its not enabled and simply replaces the selection. I can not find a pattern or action that triggers it. It just happens again and again.
Until 1240 I did not have this problem, but then again, until 1240 I also never saw the halfcolored defines with underscores (and I dont even have a dark background)
Actually this problem seems to be much worse than it appears at first glance. Just now I discovered that VAX actually inserted the bracket-enclosed fragment into the previously active file at the last insert position. *GASP*
It seems VAX gets confused every now and again between selections in files. I've had a couple of occasions (including the one I mention in topic 2395) where VAX has ended up inserting text over the wrong selection when I've had active selections in 2 or more open documents.
This is dead annoying, because you don't get any real indication this happens...
Well, I see that nothing happens in the file I'm in, except the selection changes. Then I know that something is wrong. But it takes time to realize that.
