At startup, Visual Assist X gives a dialog box stating:
All instances of the license "" are in use. VA will be disabled.

It seems as though it has forgotten the license key, but there is nowhere to enter the license key and Visual Assist Options is grayed out in the menu.

How do I fix this?

Hmm... smells like reinstall of VAX.

Did you try this:
  • Uninstall VAX

  • Delete Keys in Registry:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Whole Tomato
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Whole Tomato

  • Reboot Windows

  • Install VAX fresh...

???

Reinstalling prompted again for the license key, so that is good to go now.

But now I am getting VA's Intellisense popping up inside comments, and I can't seem to find a way to disable this.

(I'm using VS.NET 2003 and VAX build 1246.)

A completion listbox appear inside comments, but only when you press Ctrl+Space. At least this is what should happen.

What happens for you?
