it's so anoying with the delay. I just want the regular Visual Studio tooltip. Is there a way to turn off VAX tooltip without affecting other VAX features?
With "Prefer default Intellisense" enabled, MS gets the first chance at displaying a tooltip. If it does not, VA X displays its tooltip. (The opposite happens with the option disabled.)
Disabling tooltips altogether is a function of the IDE and usually requires a restart to become effective. With earlier IDEs, you have an option to disable "Quick info tooltips." We believe the option no longer exists in VS.NET 2003, hence there is no way of which we know to disable tooltips.
