1.Visual studio .Net always crash when you open a resource file and close visual studio .net.
2.open a rese file ,then choose close solution and close visual studio .net .


if you uninstall visual assist X,there is nothing happened.

1). When you say "resource file", is that an RC file?
2). What is a "rese file"?
3). Have you tried deleting your NCB file and see if that fixes it?

What build of VA X do you have? If not recent, install the latest from our downloads page.

If you have other add-ins installed, try disabling them with "Tools|Add-in Manager" to see if you have a conflict.
