Although this could be something strange with my machine, I am finding that developing in EVC4 with VAX is becoming very frustrating. The IDE becomes sproratically unresponsive and slow after about an hour of use. Turning off VAX stops the slowdown. This did not happen with VA6.

Is there still a download location for VA6?

Send you license info to us via email and we'll send a pointer to VA 6.0.

You might try deleting the NCB files associated with your projects. They often get corrupted and make the IDE slow.

Will try deleting .aps, .vcb and .vco files before downgrading...
