It would be nice if this is either disabled, or an option. More often than not, VA can not interpret/guess the contents of string literals and marks them as spelling errors.
Great would be to choose "Spell check in comments", "Spell check in string literals". |

We have considered splitting the spell check option but don't believe it will solve the problem most users experience. We feel one writes spellable text in some string literals and crud in others. Disabling spell check in string literals might be apppropriate for one file but not for another. If annoyed now that VA X underlinens too much, one might be more annoyed it doesn't underline enough at another time.
We are considering an option to have the spell check refrain from underlining words that exist when a file is opened. If effect, you get one chance at correcting your spelling -- at the time you write your code. |
