Hi,

I've been programming in java the last couple of weeks and I saw the "Change Method Signature" Dialog in Eclipse. Gosh... that's what I would like to see in VA.

What I like most is the way you can push up and down your parameters, set default values and select the type (ctrl+space shows all available classes etc).

Would be great if you could enhance the quite rudimentary change signature VA has now by a more complete one like in Eclipse :)

Have fun,
Stefan

I've been using eclipse for quite a while now and several things that have impressed me in Eclipse would be nice to see either in the IDE itself or through VAX.

My suggestion, based on an Eclipse feature is here.

SMaton do you know what you can do with VA's Change Signature dialog? The dialog is very basic, but that is deliberate to keep it simple and quick to use:

You can certainly set and edit default parameters. A listbox inside the dialog is an interesting thought...

What do you mean by push up and down parameters? Are you talking about re-ordering them? Or are you talking about something completely different?
